You’re busy with work, and errands, and taking care of your family. So how do you juggle all of that and the stresses that come with having a new puppy or dog in the house?

Having a crate for your dog is super important and most people are pretty good with crate training once they understand how it works.

BUT at first it can feel overwhelming and like you’re being a “bad dog parent”

In reality having a crate for your dog, so he’s not able to get into trouble and chew things and destroy your house while he’s going through the stages, is really important.

Having a crate or a pen for your dog depending on the size of the dog it can be a really comforting thing for the dog.

So why then do people feel so bad about doing something that’s actually really positive for their pup?

A lot of people feel guilty that their dog is going to be angry with them or stop liking them in some way because that’s how they’d feel in that situation.

And that’s a big thing to people, if their dog doesn’t like them. The truth of the matter is your pup is never going to dislike you.

Your furry friend is always going to love you.

So instead of feeling guilty and like your dog is going to be upset with you it’s actually the reverse.

By leaving your pup loose in the house you’re more likely to create way more anxiety (which leads to some really bad habits) in your dog than if you put them into their safe crate where they are perfectly fine, really happy, and have a feeling of being safe and relaxed.

You don’t have to feel bad about doing something that’s so good for them and will make your life, your family’s life, and even your pup’s life easier and more enjoyable.
