For the past few years, we have been applying for permits and variances to enlarge and renovate our home facility. The final permit has been obtained, and we are ready to start construction. The original hope was to start back in October and be completed by Christmas which obviously did not happen.
Our plans include renovating and updating our existing space, as well as adding on additional rooms.
Over the years, we have drastically reduced the amount of dogs that stay with us during our busy holiday weeks and travel times. This decision was made in order to provide a more comfortable, and less crowded service than other boarding facilities offer.
Our #1 priority is the safety and well being of your beloved pets, which is why we have no intention of taking in more dogs. This renovation is simply to provide an even better atmosphere for our valued clients.
We are extremely excited to start this new venture.
I wanted to reach out in case anyone had concerns they would like to discuss. We do intend to continue working through the renovations. We will be utilizing our existing space while they dig and build our new rooms. Once that phase is complete, we will move into the new rooms while they renovate the original space.
If your dog is staying with us, or you have plans to come in the next 2-3 months, it is our goal to provide the best care (with a little extra noise).
If you are worried about your dog staying and want to make other plans, we understand, but ask if you can let us know as soon as possible.
