Georgie hit 9 months and her personality changed completely. Georgie was running away, starting fights with their other dog, and having fights at the dog park.
Mom was devastated and felt ill equipped to deal with it, so she hired a trainer. The trainer taught Georgie obedience, but the problems were not solved. Georgie was still starting fights, and was not always coming when called.
She was worried and started to wonder if the 2 dogs were a good fit after all. Instead of giving up, she spoke with Pet Rescue who recommended she give us a call.
We have heard this story all too many times, and families are discouraged and completely stressed out thinking there is no hope for them.
Does this sound familiar? You are not alone!
We are here to tell you there are real solutions, and it is not about us training your dog or teaching you some basic commands in a few weeks.
It’s about giving families the proper education and tools needed to teach their dogs. The first time!!
Its about building relationships and learning how to solve the problems on your own.
It’s about having a good coach who will be there for you all the way through.
And after a few short months of training, here’s what Georgie’s mom is saying now…
“I can’t thank Westchester K-9 enough! They were my last ditch effort after speaking to and working with other trainers before I had to re-home my sweet Georgie, who was picking fights with my first dog Maggie. The two are back to being best buds – playing appropriately, napping together, no more fights! Georgie is no longer going crazy around food and treats to boot. She responded much better to Wk9’s positive training techniques than the previous trainer”.
