Westchester K-9 did a wonderful job with Abbey, an English Mastiff from Croton on Hudson, NY. She improved tremendously on her socialization skills. Prior to this, she was reluctant to approach and didn’t know how to play with other dogs. We recently took her out for a walk in our local park where there are quite a few dogs and she did great. She was calm and went up to other dogs and/or let them sniff her.
We definitely saw a difference when we picked her up at Westchester K-9. She was more confident and she was comfortable and happy to be there. I appreciated the Facebook postings of pictures of the “pack”, so you see the progress and Abbey playing with the other dogs. I met Jenn the trainer and she is fantastic and Abbey really bonded with her. She took time to give us an overview of what transpired in the last 3 weeks and how they worked with Abbey. Lynne, the office manager and Stacy, the owner called me a few times and answered all my questions before we enrolled Abbey. Westchester K-9 is a wonderful and caring place.
