Zeke is a mini golden doodle from Scarsdale and lives with his mom, dad and 2 human siblings. They want to make sure their home is a safe place for everyone.
Zeke had been showing some aggressive behavior and started growling at kids and other dogs. Mom contacted us and wants help getting on the right path before there is any escalation of aggression.
She knows this will take more work on their part and they are willing to put in the effort.
That’s where we come in. The board and train will start this process for them. It’s where we will teach Zeke how to become more confident and provide him with the routine and structure he needs.
Zeke is so very sweet but timid with strangers. He growls when he is scared and very hesitant of new situations. He lacks confidence but has the sweetest smile when he sees someone he knows and his whole body wiggles!
The board and train is just the start. Once we teach Zeke all the basics and a strong foundation, his family will take over.
Their ultimate goals are to take Zeke on hikes and go on the school walk with the kids. These are great and we are going to help them reach those goals!
Once Zeke goes home, his family will continue learning in our coaching program. Without proper education, Zeke may fall back to his old habits and we do not want to see that happen.
